First Degree Black belt one step traditional:
One step traditional for 1st dan is
1, L stance reverse punch – same as 1st kup 3 & 6
2, L stance knifehand strike – same as 1st kup 4
3, Jumping backfist strike from pattern Yul Gok
4, Any aerial hand technique. That means any hand technique performed whilst in the air
5, Offset L stance obverse punch. For this one you take distance and then make half a side step in direction of non punching hand to ensure your punching hand is on your opponent’s centre line.
Defence is as usual, any block from patterns. Counter attacks are any counter finishing in a classical stance. You can do more than one counter, for example I do a kick to knee and then land in walking stance palm strike for 1.
